February Haul!

Happy end of February! This month has just flown by. Even with it being a leap year and having one extra day in February, I still feel like it just started yesterday. Somehow it is already almost March and will be spring before we know! Time flies when we’re having fun!!

I have been SOOO good with not buying books this month. We are really trying to save for this wedding we have next year, so I’ve been utilizing the library more now than I normally would! I still have some books to talk about – I can never go a month without getting at least one!!

SUBSCRIPTION BOX BOOKS

This month I only got the Owlcrate book of the month and an Owlcrate special edition book. I skipped BOTM because I wasn’t invested in any of the choices.

JANUARY IS FINALLY ALMOST OVER!

I swear this month has felt like the longest month every. I always feel like the month of January goes so slow every year – and then the next 11 months fly by. This month I acquired a good amount of books, mostly using Christmas gift cards, but still including the usual subscription box book. I still have some gift card money left, which I plan to put into pre-orders that I’m really excited about. Outside of that, I’m really planning on cutting down my spending on books!

June Haul

Hi friends! I had a much smaller haul this month than I did in May. I somehow managed to be more conscious of my bank account (even though I technically was on a buying ban and shouldn’t have gotten any!) In my defense, two of these were from book boxes and three were purchased as a gift from my father! In reality, I really only bought two books, which is a huge improvement!!

Okay, so below is my breakdown!

BOOK BOXES:

My June OwlCrate and ShelfLove Crate arrived this month.

FROM POPS:

I went on vacation earlier this month with my dad, and I text him while I was packing my suitcase and told him I wasn’t sure my luggage would be under the weight restriction because of the books I was bringing (mostly kidding). But he told me if I left a few at home he would replace them in San Diego, so I got three books out of the deal! Score!

I decided after reading an ARC of Call It What You Want that I needed to preorder it, and I needed more in my cart to get the free shipping – so of course I had to get another book too!

So… I got a lot of books this month! I did such a good job last month of not really buying books, that of course I had to make up for it?? I swear my boyfriend is going to leave me one of these days if I keep coming home with Barnes and Noble’s bags full of books! Honestly, I have no space for extra books but do you see that stopping me? No ma’am! My next plan is to buy a TBR cart like those I’ve seen on Bookstagram – only when I went to buy one at Target they were out. Womp Womp.

So here’s my breakdown of my book acquisitions for this month:
